Sadovniki Park, opened in 2014 after reconstruction, is one of the best parks in Moscow. The complex reconstruction was carried out according to the project created by the British architectural bureau LDA Design and the Moscow bureau Alphabet City. In addition to the paved pedestrian and bicycle paths, the park acquired an amphitheatre, a large chess court, children's exercise equipment, sports grounds and a concrete skate park with an area of 2,750 square meters. The pride of the park is the unique "Riga Garden", created according to the sketches of Latvian specialists and decorated with designer lamps on gracefully curved supports. This is an example of the successful integration of lighting design into the landscape when each element emphasises the overall idea.
