Lighting of urban space is the most important urban planning, architectural and artistic work in shaping the appearance of the city at night, the importance of which is difficult to overestimate.

The active development of architectural, landscape, outdoor lighting in Moscow over the past few years has allowed us to accumulate vast experience in comprehensive solutions for the problems of lighting urban spaces. The lack of unified, formalized approaches to the development of urban environment lighting concepts today, the lack of criteria for assessing the work performed, often does not allow developers to justify the decisions made, and customers and coordinating executive authorities to evaluate them.

In 2014, together with the Committee for Architecture and Urban Development of Moscow, a document was developed that will regulate the standards for comprehensive lighting design, and will itself be an integral part in the planning and design of urban environment fragments. This standard is relevant, and I currently apply it in my projects.

The website presents requirements for pre-project architectural analysis, urban planning analysis, analysis of the existing lighting environment with subsequent development of a concept for architectural or landscape lighting of a separate object or fragment of the urban environment.
